To continue with the examples of SCRUM applications we have also analyzed how software companies such as Microsoft use Scrum. And we found two specific applications provided by this company where they supply users with two tools:

  1. Microsoft Teams, which enables you to administrate your team’s Scrum.

As we have seen, in the development stage its very important that your team responds fast to errors, and therefore that it applies scrum practices that will let you communicate and react to news or plugs in the more efficient way.

And that’s what Microsoft Teams is for, its a software that facilitates the agile development and problem solving in real time. It has several features which let you stock important documents in “Archivos” to have it all organized in a central location which you will use as a reference. It also uses chats , @mentions and video or audio calls, so you can ask questions and receive answers fast. You can also add Planner to create, update, and assign chores to your scrum team. All of this to ensure agility and success.

  1. Microsoft Azure:

A Cloud computing Service created by Microsoft to build, try, deploy and administer apps and services through data centers. Its a software, a platform as a service, where you can track your work with Kanban boards, backlogs, team dashboards, and custom reporting.

Why is it so useful?

  • It keeps the whole team connected from idea creation to release: It tracks all your ideas at every development stage and keep your team aligned with all code changes linked directly to work items.
  • It is Scrum ready: Use of built-in scrum boards and planning tools to help your teams run sprints, stand-ups, and planning meetings.
  • It is built for insights: you can gain new insights into the health and status of your project with powerful analytics tools and dashboard widgets.
